Leaving on a jet plane

I leave in a few hours.  I'm very excited, but nervous, pensive and a bit freaked out...but very excited :-)  As you can well imagine, I didn't sleep very well last night and now I've got 24 hours of sitting on an airplane seat. Sheesh!

I hope that I'll be able to post and update around Wednesday, maybe sooner.  I won't be meeting Samuel until Tuesday, 5/31, so no photos until then.

Thank you for all your wonderful words and thoughts of support.

Chat soon!

Shar....take a deep breath!!!  Everything will be fine!!  I will be thinking of you, especially on May 31, when you see your son for the first time!!!  It chokes me up just thinking about it!!  We may not be there with you physically, but we are ALL with you spiritually on this trek!!!

Yahoo! I am so excited for you. We arrived in Romania and went directly to the orphanage and picked up our boy. It was so exausting and overwhelming...yet wonderful. The way it's done in Kazahkstan is so different. I'm sure you will hate leaving him each day, but thank God for the rest! What a tremendous gift to go with someone who has adopted from the same orphanage already. It's a great sign...they are doing it again...but also a wealth of information. Much love from us Harts! ~Kathy
